Step 1 — Formula: pH = −log[H⁺]. Step 2 — Plug in: pH = −log(2.5 × 10⁻⁴). Step 3 — Split: −(log 2.5 + log 10⁻⁴) = −(0.40 + (−4)) = −(−3.60). Step 4 — pH = 3.60.
