When you create an account we collect your email address and a password (stored as a secure hash). When you make a purchase we receive purchase records (product purchased, date, and a transaction identifier) from Apple or our payment processor Stripe — we never see or store your card number. To enforce our one-phone-plus-one-computer account limit we store a random device identifier for your signed-in devices. Your answers to practice questions are stored with your account so your scores follow you between devices. Until you sign in, they stay only in your browser.
To see which parts of CoStudy help people, we count anonymous events: a page being viewed, a diagnostic started or finished, a checkout opened. Each count records the event, the page, and the name of the website that sent you if you came from another site. It uses no cookies and carries nothing that identifies you or your device. The counts are stored with Supabase.
We don't sell your data, show ads, use third-party advertising or analytics trackers, or use your data for advertising of any kind. We don't collect your location, contacts, photos, or anything else from your device.
Your account and study data are stored with Supabase. Payments are processed by Apple (in-app purchases), Stripe (web purchases), and RevenueCat (purchase management). Each processes only what's needed to complete and maintain your purchase.
You can sign out at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at support@costudy.net from your account email and we'll complete the deletion within 30 days. Subscription management and refunds for in-app purchases are handled through your Apple ID settings.
CoStudy's study content spans school grades, but accounts and purchases are intended for adults or for students with a parent or guardian managing the account. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.
